Do I qualify for Medicaid?

 

You may be eligible for Medicaid if one or more of these things is true:
Your family makes a low amount of money and you have children.
You receive or are eligible to receive Supplemental Security Income
You are a pregnant women whose family income is at or below 133% of the federal poverty level, for example a family of four who makes $23,225 a year or less.
Your family's assets are below $2,000
You are a recipient of adoption assistance or foster care

Eligibility varies from state to state. Contact your local county Social Security office, welfare, or Department of Human Services office and ask about your state's requirements.
