Who is eligible for
Minnesota Medicaid?
To qualify, you must:
Be one of the following:
under age 21
age 65 or over
a parent or caretaker of a dependent child
a pregnant woman
certified blind or disabled.
live in Minnesota.
be a U.S. citizen or a non-citizen lawfully residing in the U.S.
or,
be a pregnant woman, regardless of immigration status,
or,
be receiving care and services from the Center for Victims of Torture,
regardless of immigration status, assets or income.

Emergency room services when used for emergency care
Inpatient and outpatient hospital care
Lab, X-ray
Family planning
Pregnancy related services

Hearing aids
Physical, occupational, speech, respiratory and rehabilitative therapy
Transportation services
Mental health services
Alcohol and drug treatment
Prosthetics
Nursing facilities
Home health services
Hospice care
Private-duty nursing
Personal care services
Group homes for people who are mentally retarded
Other health insurance premiums that are considered cost-effective
Prescription drugs, including birth control
